How To Use Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM)

Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is an important chemical additive commonly used in water treatment, mineral processing and pulp processing. As an efficient flocculant, APAM has a strong negative charge and can quickly adsorb positively charged impurity particles in water to form large floccules, thereby improving the efficiency of solid-liquid separation. 1. Preparation method of polyacrylamide anions

Dissolution process: Slowly add polyacrylamide anion powder to water to avoid agglomeration. Use a low-speed agitator to help the powder dissolve more evenly in water. The dissolution time is usually 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the water temperature and stirring speed.

Concentration selection: According to different application requirements, the solution concentration of polyacrylamide cations is usually controlled between 0.1% and 0.5%. In the water treatment industry, low-concentration solutions are usually used to achieve better flocculation effects.

2. How to use polyacrylamide anions
